Open CD Scratch.
Insert a audio CD into your CD-ROM. If it is the first time this CD has been played in CD Scratch the CD will need to be processed. Processing will take a few moments. The information retrieved will be stored in the CD Scratch cache system for fast future processing.
Note: By default CD Scratch will automatically begin playing the first track when a CD is inserted, unless it is already playing. This auto play feature can be enabled/disabled in the Options menu (click here for details).
If CD Scratch does not automatically play, select a CD-ROM drive from the Drive drop down menu (located on the turntable).
Select a track from the Track drop down menu.
Click the button.
You are now ready to scratch the track. For instructions on scratching click here.
For details on the Turntable effects click here.
Tip: With a good quality CD-ROM you are able to play two tracks, from the same CD, at the same time. For more information please read the Ots Labs CD-DA subsystem requirements in the CD-DA subsystem section.
