Generally there should be no reason to alter the output volume levels within OtsAV itself. This is due to the fact that the Dynamics Processor elegantly handles the audio level control. If you need more volume you are best to alter the Windows output level.
Double-click on the Speaker icon in your Windows taskbar. This will open the Volume Control panel. See below for instructions on adding the Speaker icon to the taskbar.
Adjust either the main Volume Control (Speaker) slider or the Wave/DirectSound (Wave/MP3) slider to the desired level.
Note: If necessary you are able to alter the Deck level control on the software mixer. For details on the software mixer click here.
Go to the Windows Control Panel.
If you are using Windows 2000 go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
If you are using Windows XP go to Start -> Control Panel
Double-click on either the Sounds and Multimedia icon (Windows 2000), or the Sounds and Audio Devices icon (Windows XP).
If you are using Windows 2000 select the Audio tab and enable the Show volume control on the taskbar option.
If you are using Windows XP select the Volume tab and enable the Place volume icon in the taskbar option.
