As an example we will save a scratch sample in the Scratch #4 (F12) position.
Press the Ctrl + Shift + F12 keys. Notice the center panel now displays SCRATCH RECORD: DECK A (or B). You are now in recording mode. You have up to four seconds of recording time.
Once you are happy with
your scratch sample, click the icon to open the Scratch
Sampler dialog box.
Type your Title and Artist information.
Click the Save button and give the scratch sample a filename. In this example type "first".
Click the Save button.
Note: You are able to record as many scratch samples as you like. Simply load them into the four scratch sample positions, F9 - F12, when required.
