The following menu options can be found under Options -> Video/CD+G -> Video Card Overlay Output -> Assigned Head. You should select which video card head will be used to display the Video/CD+G output of OtsAV, usually the 2nd head or TV output.
Tip: The Options -> Video/CD+G menu can also be accessed by right-clicking your mouse on the middle video display (when visible). This is the suggested method, as it is the quickest way to access the Video/CD+G features.
Assigned Head
1st (Normally Primary Output) - selects your PC monitor as the output device. This option is useful is you want to display full screen Video/CD+G on your PC monitor, and not the 2nd display (TV). To display full screen video on your PC monitor, double-click on the center monitor.
2nd (Normally Secondary/TV Output) - selects your 2nd display as the target display device. If you are connecting your system to a TV, Projector, or second monitor, choose this option.
3rd - can be used if you have multiple video cards.
4th - can be used if you have multiple video cards.
Head Type (1st)
The 1st head on your video card is usually connected to your PC Monitor. If you have your video card setup differently, you can select the appropriate device.
PC Monitor (Recommended) - if you have a PC Monitor connected to the 1st head on your video card.
4:3/16:9 TV - if you have a TV or Projector connected to the 1st head on your video card.
Head Type (Additional)
The 2nd head on your video card is usually connected to your TV or Projector. If you have your video card setup differently, you can select the appropriate device.
PC Monitor (Recommended) - if you have a PC Monitor connected to the 2nd head on your video card.
4:3/16:9 TV - if you have a TV or Projector connected to the 2nd head on your video card.
Preferred Overlay Mode
RGB (Recommended): The overlay on the 2nd display uses the RGB color method.
YUV-based formats: The overlay on the 2nd display uses the YUV color method.
