De-interlace

The term De-interlace refers to the process of converting an interlaced video (a sequence of fields) into a progressive video (a sequence of frames). A thorough explanation of de-interlacing can be found here.

Ots Studio will automatically determine whether a video needs to be de-interlaced. Some video can have a combination of interlaced and progressive (de-interlaced) images. If Ots Studio has incorrectly determined the whether the video is interlaced or progressive, you can manually change the setting as required.
