In order to synchronize your audio and video within the VCI A/V Sync section, you must first calibrate your computer's hardware. To calibrate your hardware for video and audio sync, follow the steps below.
Check the Test check-box (at the bottom of the VCI window)
A display window will open, playing the current video, a flashing white line, and an audio tone
Use the +10, -10, +1, and -1 buttons to synchronize the tone with the flashing line
Un-check the Test box
This process only needs to be completed once, as the setting is remembered within Ots Studio. If you change hardware, you should check the audio/video calibration again.
