Open OtsTurntables.
Insert an audio CD into your CD-ROM.
Click on the button in the playlist control area. You will be prompted by the The CD-DA subsystem is not currently enabled dialog box. Click on the Yes button to enable the CD-DA subsystem. Alternatively, go to Options -> CD-DA Subsystem and select the CD-DA Subsystem Enabled option.
If it is the first time this CD has been played in OtsTurntables it will need to be processed. Processing will take a few moments. The information retrieved will be stored in the OtsTurntables CD cache system for fast future processing.
Click on the button in the playlist control area.
Select the track or tracks you wish to add to the playlist.
To play, click the button.
Tips:
- With a good quality CD-ROM you are able to play two tracks, from the
same CD, at the same time. For more information please read the Ots Labs
CD-DA subsystem requirements in the CD-DA
subsystem section.
- You can enable OtsTurntables to automatically play a CD when a CD is
inserted. This auto play feature can be enabled/disabled in the Options
menu (click here
for details)
-If you wish to enable the CD-DA subsystem at program startup go to Options -> CD-DA Subsystem
-> Enable CD-DA Subsystem at Program Startup option.
Notes:
- If you have two CD-ROM drives you can play tracks from two CD-ROMs at
the same time.
