You are able to change the speed at which the virtual record returns to normal speed after scratching. This effect has three options: same as initial contact, a moderate amount, and instant return to normal speed.
Go to Options -> Scratching -> Left button release momentum and select from one of the three options.
Same as initial contact: Virtual record release momentum set by closeness of initial click to centre.
A moderate amount: Virtual record release momentum set to moderate rate.
None - instant return to normal speed: Virtual record release momentum set to nil (instant release).
