Manual categorization

Manual categorization involves creating new categories, if they are not already present, and assigning Ots Album files, Wave files, or MP3 files to the created categories. For instructions on how to create and manage categories click here.

How to add an Item to a category

Use this method for categorizing Wave, MP3, and Ots Items. To learn what an Item is click here.

Ots Item	Wave Item	MP3 Item

Select the All Items tab in the Media Library area.
Select the Item(s) you wish to categorize.
Right-click, select Category -> Add to -> select the category you wish to add the Item to. The Item will be added to the category.

How to add an Album to a category

Use this method when categorizing an entire Ots Album file or single Wave and MP3 files. To learn what an Album is click here.

Select the Albums tab in the Media Library area.
Select the Album(s) you wish to categorize.
Right-click, select Category -> Add to -> select the category you wish to add the Album to.
You will be prompted by the following:

"This operation will affect all individual items contained within the album(s) you have selected. Do you wish to proceed?"
Click the Yes button.
