OtsAV's BeatMorph Technology is based around aligning Match Points between two songs during an automated beat mix. A match point is located within the intro range and outro range. The Match Point marker can be dragged on the Upper and Lower Waveform display areas, using your mouse.
Tip: Hold the CTRL key on your keyboard while dragging the marker in the Upper Waveform display, and the Match Point marker will snap to the beat grid.
Match Points should be positioned as follows...
Intro Match Point: Positioned on a 1 beat, just as the song is gaining momentum, or the energy level of the song increases. Typically, this is where the intro of the song ends, and the main body of the song commences. See here for examples.
Outro Match Point: Positioned on a 1 beat, just as the song is losing momentum, or the energy level of the song is falling. Typically, this is where the main body of the song ends, and the outro of the song begins. See here for examples.
