By default OtsAV stores the date and time of when a Item was last played and how often it has been played in the Media Library. This information is used during the playlist generation process. For example, OtsAV will look at the Play Info of an Item to see whether it should be played or not based on the Playlist Template rules set.
From time to time it may be necessary to clear an Item's Play Information.
Right-click on the Item that you want to clear the Play Info from.
Select the Other -> Play Info -> Clear option.
You will be prompted to see if you want to proceed. Select Yes if you wish to proceed.
Alternatively you can double-click on an Item and select the Clear button next to the Play Info text in the Album/Item Information dialog box.
From time to time it may be necessary to tell OtsAV not to update the Last Play information for items. For example, if you are experimenting with Playlist Templates.
Go to Options in the OtsAV program menu
Enable the Do Not Update Item Last Play Info option.
