Playing Video or CD+G tracks in OtsAV

Ots Video and Ots CD+G files can be treated in exactly the same way as Ots Audio files. You are able to search for Video and CD+G clips in exactly the same way you would search for audio files. Use the Search Media Library feature to find the Video or CD+G track you want to play, and drag the item into a deck or into the playlist. Video items are identifiable by a V in the Att. column, and CD+G items are identifiable by a G in the Att. column. If you have made a beat track for these items, you will also see a B in the Att. column. If you have flagged your karaoke Items in Ots Studio, you will also see a K in the Att. column.

Video and CD+G items can be sped up or slowed down using the Pitch and Tempo sliders. You can adjust the pitch (or key) of the track by moving the Pitch Slider. To keep the track at its original speed, move the Tempo slider to compensate for any Pitch adjustment. ie. If the Pitch slider is at +5%, move the Tempo slider to -5% to retain the original speed of the song.

Video and CD+G items can be saved in playlists, and added to categories of your choice in your Media Library. Again, everything you can do with an audio item, you can do with Video and CD+G items.

Note: To learn more about converting your existing music video collection to Ots files, consult the documentation for Ots Studio. You can convert your CD+G discs, or your existing MP3+G library to Ots files using Ots Studio. Ots Video and Ots CD+G files need to be imported to OtsAV's Media Library before they can be played.
