Item Output Settings

The following options can be selected from the Options -> Video/CD+G -> Item Output Settings menu.

Tip: The Options -> Video/CD+G menu options can also be accessed by right-clicking your mouse on the middle video display, when they are visible. This is the suggested method, as it is the quickest way to access the Video/CD+G features.

Video Item Output Enabled - un-checking this option will not allow the video component of any video clips to be viewed. The audio from the video clip will play as per normal. This option can be used to force the Slideshow feature to be displayed (if activated), instead of video clips. If a video clip is being played, the changes will take effect once the currently playing video clip has finished playing.

The topics below will be added to future versions of OtsAV.

Ignore Video/CD+G For Excluded Items - use this option to ignore the video or CD+G component of any items that have been added to the Video/CD+G Exclusion Category (see below).

Set Video/CD+G Exclusion Category... - use this option to select a category that contains items where the Video or CD+G component of an item will not be displayed. This can come in handy when the video content on certain clips is not suitable for the general public or younger age groups. Any clips that may not be suitable should be placed into a category of your choice, such as "ExcludeVideo". When performing at under age events, select the Ignore Video/CD+G For Excluded Items option (see above), and the video content of these clips won't be seen, however the audio can be played as per normal.

Tip: To create a new category, such as ExcludeVideo, click here. To add items to a category, refer to these instructions.
