Setting the Range End marker

A Range End marker can be positioned in the Intro Range and the Outro Range. This marker tells OtsAV the latest point at which audio may be heard in an automated beat mix, from either the Intro or Outro Ranges.

The marker can be moved by clicking on the top of the marker, and dragging it with your mouse, using either the Upper Waveform display, or the Lower Waveform display.

Tip: Hold the CTRL key on your keyboard while dragging the marker, and the Range Start marker will snap to the beat grid.

Intro Range End marker

The Intro Range Start marker should be dragged to a position where you want the audio to stop being part of the beat mix. This may be immediately after the Match Point (which would effectively produce a "slam" mix), or 8, 16, 32 or 64 counts past the Match Point. For an example, see here.

Outro Range End marker

The Outro Range Start marker should be dragged to a position where you want the audio to stop being part of the beat mix. This may be immediately after the Match Point (which would effectively produce a "slam" mix), or at the very end of the song. For an example, see here.

Note: You can check the exact position of your markers by using the Zoom buttons.
