Editing Chunk Information

Each Item within an Ots file can contain multiple "chunks". To learn more about chunks, see here.

Below is a list of the most commonly used chunks within Items (songs).

 

Artist Info: Stores the Artist(s) name. More...

Audio Control Info (ACI): Allows editing of the fade-in/fade-out points of the Item. More...

Audio Data: Contains the actual audio. This chunk cannot be edited.

Beat Info: Used to setup the Item for Automated Beat Mixing. More...

Genre: The Genre or Category of the Item is stored here. More...

Item Copyright: Enter Copyright information specific to the Item. More...

Item Title: Stores the Title and mix type of the Item. More...

Release Info: Date of Release for the Item. More...

Video Control Info (VCI): Used to adjust the video properties. More...

Video Data: Contains the actual video data (if the Item is a video or CD+G). This chunk cannot be edited.

 

Tip: To add a specific chunk type to an Item, right-click on the Item (in bold), and select Create New Chunk And Add Reference To It -> chunk type.

There are additional chunk types that can be added to your Items, should you have the need for them. These are listed below.

 

Album Control Info: To be used in future versions.

CD Track Number: Lists the CD Track Number, when ripping the CD using Ots Studio.

Composer: List the Composers (or writers) of the Item.

From Album: Copyright: To add Copyright information relating to the Album the Item was originally from. More...

From Album: Cover: To add a CD Cover image relating to the Album the Item was originally from. More...

From Album: Title: To add Album Title information relating to the Album the Item was originally from. More...

Lighting Control: To be used in future versions.

Lyrics: To be used in future versions.

 

Tip: Chunks can be removed from Items by right-clicking on the chunk, and selecting Delete Reference And Chunk, or pressing the Delete key on your keyboard after selecting the chunk.
